Spirulina Powder

Spirulina is one of a number of algae that have abundant levels of nutrients that are essential for good health. It is one of nature's true super foods. Algae are greens that grow in water and they date back to being one of the earliest forms of life on our planet. Like other more familiar plants, algae use the sun’s energy and carbon dioxide to grow and produce oxygen.
Spirulina is also a source of glycogen and as such is often used in 'power' drinks that give the user energy. Potassium is involved in converting glucose to glycogen and yes you guessed it, Spirulina is also a good source of potassium. It also contains an excellent level of vitamin B12 and is a good source of Iron.
